At the front, the lower section of the front apron changes with three-piece fog lamps now sitting on both sides, while the small grille section running between the headlights is larger and features some artificial chrome detailing. The changes at the rear are less noticeable, with a very subtly different rear bumper and new tail light signatures.

Some high-spec Tivoli models are now available with digital instrumentation too. The new digital instrument panel uses a 10.25-inch LCD screen with selectable display modes, and is conventional equipment on the new range-topping Tivoli Ultimate.
As for engines, SsangYong has introduced two new petrol motors, while updating the Tivoli’s diesel option. The base engine is a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol developing 126bhp and 230Nm torque, sending power to the front wheels from a six-speed manual gearbox. SsangYong claims fuel consumption of 40.4mpg, with CO2 emissions of 158g/km, marking an improvement over the old 1.6-litre unit.
